Octavian E. Ionescu is an experienced professional working in the field of Program Managemnent from over 25 years. After a 10 years carrier as a scientific researcher in Transportation, he enhanced his planning skills during in a Professional Exchange Program in Planning and Programming with Minnesota University and Minnesota Department of Transportation in USA.

Over the last 15 years he developed and applied Project Management and Governance methods and tools in hundreds of projects, successfully implemented in major companies from several industries:

  • Energy: Rompetrol, Shell Gas Romania and Amoco Romania
  • Automotive: Krupp Bilstein Compa
  • Telecommunications: ROMTELECOM

Since 2004 Mr. Ionescu is the manager of ROMTELECOM’s PMO and responsible to monitor and report over multi-million Euro investment and transformation portfolios of projects and programs. Beside program management he is also an activist of Business Process Management giving speeches and monthly publishing articles in a top Romanian management magazine.
